All QCA Spas can be equipped with the Aquapure Spa Sanitizing System. This system utilizes Corona Discharge (CD) ozone technology. The ozonator injects ozone gas into the spa water and kills bacteria in all water and plumbing lines.
The CD Ozone is distributed to the main body of spa water through the jets. Corona Discharge Ozone used in combination with residual amounts of bromine or chlorine can effectively provide a clean, safe, bacteria- free hot tub and dramatically reduce chemical use at the same time.
Ozone also breaks down body oils in the water so you achieve crystal clear water without a lot of effort. Since the CD ozonator kills a large amount of the bacteria, you effectively can use less bromine or chlorine to do the same job also saving on chemicals. You do still need to use chlorine or bromine in conjunction with the ozone system for maxium benefit and pure water.

The excess CD Ozone that rises to the spa water surface is recycled by the spas’ built-in ozone recovery system, which maximizes the sanitation in the spa.

All Paradise Series, Majestic Series, Jewel Series and Performance Series spas come ozone-ready. Our higher end models feature an ozone recovery system that recycles ozone for cleaner water.
Other benefits to an ozone recovery system includes reducing standing ozone that can accumulate between the water surface and the underside of the spa cover. Over time, standing ozone may wear on the underside of the spa cover and is wasteful as it does not purify the water below. By using ozone recycling, ozone is not allowed to accumulate but is reintroduced into the water.
100 square foot cartridge filters are capable of filtering a 57,000 litre swimming pool so they easily filter out organic waste and dirt from a 2000 liter spa. The QCA Spas built-in chemical dispenser automatically dispenses the right amount of sanitizer that you can adjust. The inline heater with smart sensor technology then regulates the water flow and the water temperature for effective sanitization and also spa safety.
